Chris did an excellent job; arrived on time; performed the work and sent paperwork when done. Really like Don’s Heating and Cooling and have had Chris tune up our furnace for winter more than once over the years! Always an excellent experience with COVID protocols in place this year. Ashley and Spencer we’re here for 1 1/2 days and did a great job. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable, providing us with updates as the job (remove existing furnace and air conditioner and install new equipment) progressed. When the job was complete they gave us a “tour” with explanations of all they had worked on and answered the questions we had. Overall, they would have our recommendations.

Don and Chris were fantastic. Had a bit of wait for AC to be installed, but to be expected during this hot, humid, covid summer. They arrived on time and installed AC without any incident. SO relieved to have air conditioning again and love new thermostat, thanks Chris! Staff is friendly and professional and my house is COLD 😁

Super fast, friendly service – we had a smaller job, just to relocate an outdoor gas line for a barbecue, and they were able to fit us onto another job in the area and got us up and running a week earlier than planned. 100% would recommend

Their sales and service personnel are outstanding. Salesman Chris Whelan conducted extensive research on our behalf to find the perfect gas fireplace to meet our needs and provided us with a quote that clearly delineated the installation work and associated charges to ensure there would be no surprises when it came time to pay the bill.
Don’s Heating & Cooling then sent us “the dream team” of Mike and Brendan to do the installation. They were a delight to have in our home and they did a superb job with the installation in a very timely fashion.
It was apparent with all three of Don’s team that they take pride in their work and in meeting and exceeding their client’s expectations. Definitely 5 star service!

COVID 19 Safety Update

Don’s Heating and Cooling is watching closely as the global situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve. As our communities take steps to deal with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share with you what Don’s Heating and Cooling is doing to endure the safety and well-being of our employees and customers.

Our commitment to the safety and well-being of our customers has long been a part of our values and operating procedures. We are closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and have further enhanced our procedures in response to guidelines issued by health authorities.

All of our technicians and staff are required to adhere to comprehensive health and safety procedures including all local laws. In addition, we provide our staff and technicians with best practices and guidelines and have supplemented these resources with additional COVID-19 cleanliness-specific guidance, training and information consistent with our own high standards.

Specifically, we are:

Educating our team members on COVID-19 and how to avoid transmission;
Reinforcing our existing training on hygiene and health procedures;
Requiring our employees to ask screening questions of clients when they call in with a request for service AND again prior to a technician entering a residence or building. Depending on responses received to these questions, service may be declined in order to protect the health and safety of the client and/or technician;
Outfitting outbound technicians with appropriate protective gear and sanitizer;
Requiring employees who fall ill or exhibit symptoms to self-quarantine for a minimum of 14 days;
Requiring employees returning from other countries to self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days;
Diligently conducting additional disinfecting and cleaning of our fleet vehicles and offices.

We are closely following the direction of the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), as well as guidelines issued by provincial and local health departments.  We are also monitoring our team members’ health very closely.

In summary, we are committed to taking all appropriate steps to ensure that, now more than ever, we put the health and safety of our customers and staff first. We remain committed to serving all your home comfort needs.
