We recently moved to the Alliston area and found ourselves having to look for a new wood stove which was a daunting task.
We had three quotes and decided to use Don’s Heating and Cooling whom I will highly recommend.
Don took the time to explain their services and came direct to the house to understand our requirements.
We liked the Napoleon brand he stocks as well.
Installation was scheduled quickly .
The installers Chris and Jamie I give kudos too, they worked many hours and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure everything was perfect … the existing hole in the roof was larger then it should have been and Chris did some Fabrications to ensure it’s safety! I felt very comfortable in the dealings through the whole process.
Don came and did a home inspection after the fact which I feel is great customer service.

It is with great pleasure that I share our experience with Don’s Heating and Cooling on December 14, 2017. Around 3 p.m., we noticed a gas smell in our furnace room. We called the gas company and they shut off our gas because a leak was confirmed. With the weather prediction of -17 over night, we were worried about getting someone out the same day. We called Don’s Heating and Cooling, where I spoke to Jasmine, who was very kind and efficient. She said she would have someone out to our home that night. The two gentlemen that came and fixed our gas leak were professional and friendly; they found the problem very quickly and fixed it. We are grateful for the efficient and professional service we were given. Thank you so much. We’ve used Don’s in the past, and will continue to only use Don’s Heating and Cooling in the future. Excellent Customer Service!

COVID 19 Safety Update

Don’s Heating and Cooling is watching closely as the global situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve. As our communities take steps to deal with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share with you what Don’s Heating and Cooling is doing to endure the safety and well-being of our employees and customers.

Our commitment to the safety and well-being of our customers has long been a part of our values and operating procedures. We are closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and have further enhanced our procedures in response to guidelines issued by health authorities.

All of our technicians and staff are required to adhere to comprehensive health and safety procedures including all local laws. In addition, we provide our staff and technicians with best practices and guidelines and have supplemented these resources with additional COVID-19 cleanliness-specific guidance, training and information consistent with our own high standards.

Specifically, we are:

Educating our team members on COVID-19 and how to avoid transmission;
Reinforcing our existing training on hygiene and health procedures;
Requiring our employees to ask screening questions of clients when they call in with a request for service AND again prior to a technician entering a residence or building. Depending on responses received to these questions, service may be declined in order to protect the health and safety of the client and/or technician;
Outfitting outbound technicians with appropriate protective gear and sanitizer;
Postponing all non-emergency service calls and repairs until a later date;
Requiring employees who fall ill or exhibit symptoms to self-quarantine for a minimum of 14 days;
Requiring employees returning from other countries to self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days;
Diligently conducting additional disinfecting and cleaning of our fleet vehicles and offices.

We are closely following the direction of the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), as well as guidelines issued by provincial and local health departments.  We are also monitoring our team members’ health very closely.

In summary, we are committed to taking all appropriate steps to ensure that, now more than ever, we put the health and safety of our customers and staff first. We remain committed to serving all your home comfort needs.
